Objects from Ulcinj now kept outside Ulcinj — 9th-century ciborium fragments in the National Museum in Belgrade. They were not scanned but reconstructed from photographs, so shape, ornament and size may differ from the original. A more accurate model is possible with better photographs or a 3D scan of the original.

A reconstruction from photographs, not a 3D scan. The slab of the 9th-century Ulcinj ciborium is kept in the National Museum in Belgrade. The model was made from photographs only and may contain errors in shape, ornament and size; a more accurate model is possible with better photographs or a 3D scan of the original.

A flat ciborium slab as a 3D model made from photographs. The decorative bands follow the same order as on the scanned fragment of the Ulcinj ciborium — volutes, inscription, ovolo, interlace.

The size was estimated by measurement: the repeat spacing of the ornament on the model was compared with the spacing of the same band on the 3D scan of the fragment, so the model was stretched by about 10% to a width of about 1.04 m. The band boundaries were then fitted to the heights measured on the scan.

The ornament and letters on the model are a reconstruction, not a copy of the original; the inscription is not read. The model serves to show the whole — how the slab may have looked alongside the scanned fragment.
